A prominent distributor specializing in top-tier food brands faces the unique operational challenge of wanting to monitor their products in real-time but can't achieve this because their cold storage facilities are situated in an area where mobile network access is severely limited and most data loggers are reliant on mobile networks
Approach
To overcome this challenge, this client reached out to us at Figorr to harness the power of our LoRa technology. LoRa is a wireless communication technology that allows data transmission through radio waves. This technology is known for its long-range capabilities, low power consumption, and reliability.
Our LoRa temperature monitoring sensor was successfully installed within the cold storage rooms. These real-time monitoring sensors captured temperature and humidity data and transmitted it through the air using radio waves. The data is received by a gateway connected to a network server located outside the cold storage facilities.
How it Works:
Data Transmission: The temperature and humidity data collected by the sensors were transmitted via radio waves.

Data Processing: The network server processed the received data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
